Rexburg Swim Lessons

Level Overview

Levels 1–4 offered

· Level 1- Completely unable to swim on their own
· Level 2- Able to float on front and back on their own, comfortable in the water
· Level 3- Able to float on their own, able to swim streamline front and back unassisted, and able to swim short distance freestyle on their own, independence in the water
· Level 4- Able to swim front and backstroke along with understanding the basics of breaststroke and butterfly, able to swim 12 to 15 yards unassisted, able to float unassisted

Instructor to Swimmer Ratio

Level 1 has a 3:1 swimmer to instructor ratio
Level 2 has a 3:1 swimmer to instructor ratio
Level 3 has a 4:1 swimmer to instructor ratio
Level 4 has a 4:1 swimmer to instructor ratio

Instructor Experience

Every instructor if Lifeguard (with deep-water)/CPR/AED/First Aid Certified through the Red Cross
Extensive In House Instructor Training - Trainers have 5+ years of teaching experience

What Is The Deadline To Pick Up My Swimmer After Class?

You must pick up your swimmer within 5 mins after the 30 minute class ends. If you fail to due so, you can become subject to a $15 fine.

What Happens If I Miss A Class?

You are responsible for making it to your selected class times. If you miss a class there will not be a refund given. However if a class is cancelled due to BYUI internal affairs and is unable to be rescheduled, you will be refunded the appropriate amount .

Can I Pick the instructor?

No, you cannot choose your instructor. Instructors will be assigned based on availability and need.

Do You Offer Private Swim Lessons?

Private Swim Lessons are not available

Am I Allowed To Be In The Water With My Swimmer?

No, each swimmer will be carefully watched over by the swim instructor as well as the life guard on duty. Parents/Guardians are allowed to watch from the pool deck as long as they are not distracting from the class lesson.
